DELIVERY POLICY
We would like to inform you about an important change affecting our ability to process and deliver orders to customers located within the European Union.
As of 12 August 2026, the European Union's new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR – Regulation (EU) 2025/40) has started to apply. The regulation introduces a significantly broader framework of requirements concerning packaging, packaging waste management and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) across EU Member States.
The new framework introduces additional obligations for businesses placing packaged products on the EU market. Depending on the country and the type of packaging involved, these obligations may include registration with national packaging/EPR schemes, reporting of packaging quantities and materials, payment of EPR-related contributions and waste-management fees, appointment of authorised representatives, record-keeping and other administrative and compliance requirements.
While the objectives of the regulation are focused on improving packaging sustainability, recycling and waste management, its implementation also creates substantial additional operational and administrative requirements for businesses selling and shipping products across EU borders.
For our business, the practical impact includes, among other things:
-
additional registration and compliance requirements in individual EU countries;
-
additional EPR and packaging-related fees and contributions;
-
increased administrative and reporting workload;
-
additional documentation and record-keeping requirements;
-
the need to monitor different national implementation requirements and compliance procedures;
-
increased operational costs associated with cross-border shipments;
-
additional costs related to packaging, packaging data and waste-management obligations;
-
potential requirements to work with local authorised representatives or producer responsibility organisations in individual Member States.
The regulation also creates a situation where the compliance costs associated with certain destinations can become disproportionate to the commercial value and volume of orders shipped to those countries. In particular, for markets where we receive only a limited number of orders, the fixed registration, reporting, representation and EPR-related costs may exceed, or significantly reduce, the economic viability of continuing to serve those destinations.
Although the PPWR is intended to harmonise the regulatory framework across the European Union, Member States continue to have national systems and administrative mechanisms through which certain obligations are implemented. This means that operating a cross-border delivery service can still involve country-specific compliance requirements and costs.
After carefully reviewing the operational and financial implications of these requirements, we have therefore had to make the difficult decision to temporarily suspend deliveries to customers located within the European Union.
This suspension will remain in effect until further notice, and will continue until we are able to reassess the situation and determine whether the applicable regulatory framework is amended, simplified or otherwise modified in a way that allows us to resume EU deliveries on a commercially and operationally sustainable basis.
Please note that this decision is not related to the quality of our products or our relationship with our customers. It is solely the result of the additional regulatory, administrative and financial requirements associated with fulfilling orders within the EU under the new packaging and EPR framework.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We will continue to monitor developments regarding the PPWR and related EPR requirements and will review the possibility of resuming EU deliveries when circumstances allow us to do so.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
